Queue exasperated and audible gasps from around the world. Boy Meets World is coming back to TV. I’ll just give you a minute to let that sink in.
The Disney Chanel is apparently in the early stages of developing a new series that will focus on the daughter of everyone’s favourite TV couple Cory and Topenga.
“Boy Meets World, the half-hour comedy that ran as part of ABC’s “TGIF” block for seven seasons from 1993-2000, centered on the lessons learned by Cory Matthews as he goes through life starting as a young boy. By the time the series ended, Cory and Topanga married and began living together.”
Casting is currently underway for the series. There has been no official word yet though as to whether or not Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel (who played Cory and Topenga respectively) will be involved with the show.
