Inspired by a blind woman’s sculpture of Lionel Richie, and the undying love for the man himself, Dave Glass and Kill Cooper have set out on a mission to ‘Make Lionel Bigger‘ both figuratively in terms of his popularity’s reach, and literally by making a giant sculpture of his head from laser cutting mechanisms.

Hungry Castle (Dave and Gil’s creative studio) has already created a prototype of the head which can hold a 7 inch Lionel Richie album. If the project goes through, you’ll be able to purchase the ‘Lionel Vinyl Head’ for $100.

For $1,000 you can be one of five people to have your name, or companies name emblazoned on the large version of the Lionel Head in in a yet to be decided location in Tuskegee, Alabama.

Hungry Castle is looking for $30,000 over the next 30 days to complete this project. If ever anything ever was worth sharing and supporting, it’s definitely this.
